Before you apply.
Is there a guaranteed dealer discount?
No. Approved pricing varies by product, brand, tier, quantity, sales channel, and program. The current written price list assigned to the account controls.
Is there a minimum opening order?
SMG does not publish one blanket commitment for every dealer and product line. Any opening-order, volume, or tier requirement that applies will be presented in writing during review.
What is the difference between a dealer account and Shopify Collective?
A dealer account supports direct purchasing from SMG. Collective is a connected Shopify workflow using assigned price lists and platform-based product, inventory, and order tools. Eligibility and terms differ.
Can I sell on marketplaces?
Disclose every marketplace and seller identity in the application. Marketplace sales require SMG's written approval and may also be restricted by brand-specific policies.
What documents may be required?
Depending on the business and location, SMG may request a signed dealer agreement, resale or tax documentation, business verification, storefront details, and other reasonable account records after initial review.
