2014–2018 GM Truck / 2015–2020 SUV 5.3L ProCharger HO Complete System

ProCharger 1GV213-SCI HO Complete System for supported 2014–2018 GM 1500 trucks and 2015–2020 GM SUVs with the original 5.3L engine. Supply exact model, year, VIN, transmission, drivetrain and modifications. The 6.2L and 6.0L HD packages are separate applications; engine swaps require separate compatibility review.

Included hardware

A satin P-1SC-1 supercharger, shared factory 6-rib drive, 3-core air-to-air intercooler, ProFlow valve and application tubing form the standard system. The supported stock application retains factory fuel injectors. Application PCM tuning is included with the complete system; modified engines or fuel systems may require custom calibration.

Tuning process by model year

Begin the calibration workflow before installation. The manufacturer installation guide describes a handheld tuning workflow for 2014–2016 applications and a supplied tuning certificate with PCM mail-in programming for 2017 and later vehicles. Confirm the current process for the exact VIN before installation; a handheld programmer is not promised for every model year.

Configuration choices

The catalog specifies 8 psi and a 45%+ power gain for the supported standard application. Results depend on engine condition, fuel and calibration. Choose P-1SC-1 or optional P-1X, straight-cut or helical gearing, and satin, black or polished housing finish. Bracket finish, forward-facing inlet and vertical intercooler conversion are selected separately. The 3-core intercooler is already included.

Installation and emissions

Use premium fuel and document all engine, exhaust, fuel-system and chassis modifications. ProCharger lists 2014–2018 GM 5.3L HO P-1SC-1/P-1X configurations with 1GV213-SCI under CARB EO D-365-28. Approval applies only to the specified vehicle and configuration; do not extend that listed year coverage automatically to 2019–2020 SUVs. Provide registration state and intended use for exact application review.

2017–2018 intercooler fitment

ProCharger application-guide footnote BB7 specifies a vertical intercooler for 2017–2018 trucks and a horizontal intercooler for 2017–2018 SUVs. Intercooler orientation must match the exact model and year; these are not interchangeable choices for those applications. Supply the VIN and body type so the required configuration and applicable pricing can be confirmed before the order is released.
