- One BTR-VVT-GEN-VP-4CAM Gen V Plus 4-degree VVT phaser limiter.
Cam specifications: 210/22X duration, .540/.540-inch lift, 111 LSA and 14% fuel lobe. BTR describes it as stock-converter compatible and recommends BTR91120-16 springs.
Engine fitment and supporting parts
Native engine-family references: 2020–2026 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD/3500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD/3500 HD equipped with the 6.6L L8T gasoline V8. Not for the 6.6L Duramax diesel, earlier 6.0L engines or 1500-series engines. Verify engine RPO and installed phaser. Other L8T vehicles and engine swaps require individual checks; this is a modified-engine application, not a stock replacement guarantee.
Springs, pushrods, seals, gaskets, tools, fluids, tuning and installation labor are not included. Verify spring setup, pushrod length, piston-to-valve clearance, phaser installation and calibration for the complete build. Performance gains vary with the engine combination.
Availability: BTR showed the included Gen V Plus limiter on backorder when checked September 22, 2026. Orders are accepted; confirm current lead time before scheduling installation.
Shipping estimate: Provisional 16 lb packed weight and 24 × 4 × 4-inch carton; final measured shipment may differ.
