BTR LS Square Port Truck Cam Kit pairs your choice of Brian Tooley Racing Gen III/IV LS truck cam with optional square-port-compatible valve springs and pushrods. Select each component above: the price and included parts change with your selections. This is not a Gen V LT kit.
What your selection includes
- One selected BTR camshaft: Stage 1, 2, 3 or 4 V3; Truck Torque (30202111R1); Truck Norris; LS 400+ Low-Lift Truck; or Truck Hoss Stroker (BTR-LSTRUCKHOSS).
- Optional spring package: BTR-SK018 .625-inch beehive kit with .045-inch locators and valve seals (reuses suitable factory retainers/locks), or SK001/S/0560/BB steel-retainer or SK001/T/0560/BB titanium-retainer .660-inch dual-spring kit with .060-inch locators and valve seals. Confirm valve-guide diameter, installed height, spring pressures and retainer-to-seal/coil-bind clearance for your heads.
- Optional set of 16 pushrods: BTR OE7400-16 stock replacement, or BTR one-piece chromoly 7.400-inch long, 5/16-inch diameter, .080-inch wall. Measure the required length and lifter preload; 7.400 inches is not correct for every machined head, gasket or lifter combination.
No springs / no pushrods means those parts are not included. It does not make the selected cam an NSR cam or certify your existing valvetrain. Supply properly matched components separately when choosing an omission.
Choose the cam for your build
Stage 1–4 V3, Torque and Truck Norris serve different displacement, converter, gearing and driving goals; verify the exact cam specifications before ordering. The Truck Norris choice here is the standard LS cam, not Truck Norris NSR and not Gen V Truck Norris. The LS 400+ Low-Lift and Truck Hoss options are for appropriately built large-displacement/stroker combinations, not a blanket stock-engine upgrade.
Truck Hoss requires BTR SK001 .660-inch dual springs because of its .620/.636-inch valve lift. The SK018 beehive combination is unavailable for Hoss. If selecting Hoss with no springs, an appropriate SK001 system must already be supplied. BTR targets 400–416-cubic-inch builds and recommends 10.5:1 or less compression for pump gas. Do not assume a cam recommended for a stock converter in a stroker behaves the same in a stock-displacement engine.
SK018 uses the supplied separate seals and locators, not OEM hat-style seals. BTR does not recommend its single-wire beehive springs with roller rockers or increased rocker ratio without technical review. Verify rocker ratio and piston-to-valve clearance for every cam; tuning is required. Some applications need a converter upgrade, three-bolt cam gear/bolts, VVT-delete hardware and/or a complete mechanical AFM/DOD conversion. Those parts are not included.
Engine and vehicle fitment
Intended for Gen III/IV LS square/rectangle-port truck-engine builds such as L92, LY6 and L76, and related L9H/L94/L96 combinations with verified matching heads and valvetrain. Compatible engine swaps are welcome, but vehicle search identifies an engine family—not a ready-to-install kit for every trim or every cam choice. Confirm the engine RPO, head casting, valve guides and valvetrain before ordering.
Qualified truck coverage: 2007–2009 Silverado/Sierra 1500 with non-hybrid L76 6.0L; 2009–2013 Silverado 1500 and 2007–2013 Sierra 1500 with LS-family 6.2L; 2007–2019 Silverado/Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD with square-port LY6/L96 6.0L gasoline engines. Excludes 2007 Classic/cathedral-port engines, hybrids, CNG/LPG conversions without separate review, diesel, V6 and Gen V LT/L8T engines. AFM and VVT equipment must be addressed as required for the chosen fixed-timing cam.
Related native square-port car-engine applications include 2010–2015 Camaro SS (LS3/L99), 2008–2013 Corvette Base and 2010–2013 Grand Sport (LS3), 2008–2009 Pontiac G8 GT (L76) and 2009 G8 GXP (LS3). These entries identify engine-family compatibility only: this truck-oriented cam lineup is not a recommendation for every car, and the stroker cams require the specified displacement/build. Excludes V6, LS7 Z06, LS9 ZR1 and supercharged CTS-V applications. Verify spring fit, pushrod length, converter/gearing and AFM/VVT conversion requirements for the actual engine.
Optional tools and comparisons
Tools are sold separately: BTR pneumatic valve holding tool, BTR valve seal tool and BTR installed-height micrometer. No assembly lube, third-party exhaust manifolds, gaskets or fluids are included.
Compare BTR LS Truck Cam Kit, standard LS Truck Norris and LS Truck Norris NSR. These are separate products with their own requirements; an NSR label is not permission to reuse worn or mismatched springs.
Shipping and availability
Manual BTR package: inventory is not tracked and ordering remains enabled when stock is unavailable. Component availability and dispatch time must be confirmed; ordering enabled is not an in-stock promise. Provisional shipping estimate: 20 lb contents for cam only, add 3 lb for SK018 or 5 lb for SK001, and 3 lb for either pushrod set. Assigned carton is 26 × 12 × 8 inches with 1 lb packaging tare. These conservative allowances are not manufacturer-verified packed measurements; final carton and billed weight can vary.
