Application coverage includes 2003-2005 Mazda6 i 2.3L and S 3.0L, 2003 Mazdaspeed Protege, and 1984-1985 GSL-SE and selected 1986-1991 and 1993-1995 RX-7 applications. Confirm the exact year, trim and installed rear brake package before ordering.

Original brake requirements: Mazda6 uses 11.0 x 0.4 inch solid iron rear rotors and its original calipers and mechanical parking brake. Mazdaspeed Protege requires its original Euro-spec 11-inch brake package, with Mazda rear-pad reference GGYB2648Z. RX-7 GSL-SE uses 10.1-inch ventilated rear discs; second-generation RX-7 rear hardware varies between 10.3-inch solid and 10.7-inch ventilated packages; 1993-1995 RX-7 uses single-piston rear calipers with 294 x 20 mm ventilated rotors.

Hardware and limits: Match original parking-brake hardware, clips, shims and springs; mixed OE-kit descriptions in the source do not guarantee included accessories. These pads do not fit 1984-1985 RX-7 S/GS rear drums or GSL 9.29-inch rear discs. Ordinary Protege/Protege5/MP3, Mazdaspeed6, later/import brake upgrades and unverified conversions are excluded.
