For source-supported 1981-1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL 12A rear disc brake applications. Requires the original GSL rear caliper and approximately 9.29-inch solid iron rotor (Mazda rotor family FA18-26-251), with the original pad shape and retaining hardware.

Brake-package restriction: Excludes S and GS rear drum brakes, the GSL-SE 13B larger ventilated rear brake assembly, later RX-7 brakes and unverified aftermarket conversions. Match the different inner and outer pad profiles; historical Hawk drawing D235 shows approximately 98 mm inner / 99 mm outer width and 39 mm height. Mazda lists separate GSL rear pad hardware FA18-49-290A. Hardware inclusion is not implied.

The existing 1983 Limited Edition selector entry remains unconfirmed pending exact trim and original rear-brake evidence. Do not treat selector inclusion as confirmed compatibility.
