For original 1990-1993 Mazda Miata 1.6L rear brakes with 9.1-inch solid iron rotors; 1991-1996 Ford Escort GT and 1992-1993 LX-E 1.8L DOHC rear-disc brakes; 1990-1994 Mazda Protege LX equipped with rear disc brakes; and 1991-1996 Mercury Tracer LTS 1.8L DOHC with original 9.88-inch solid iron rear rotors. Retain the correct original calipers, clips, shims and parking-brake hardware.

Excludes rear-drum models, later Miata 1.8L/Sport/NC/ND brake packages, carbon-ceramic rotors and unverified aftermarket conversions. Protege 4WD and conflicting Base/Trio/LX source entries require exact-part confirmation; shared platforms or pad shapes do not establish compatibility.

Tracer Trio fitment check: 1991-1993 Tracer Trio application remains unconfirmed. Requires a verified matching rear-disc brake system with HB157 .484 / D458 backing plates, correct pad clips and shims, compatible iron rotors and functioning parking-brake hardware.
