For selected 1986-1991 FC and 1993-1995 FD Mazda RX-7 applications with the original four-piston fixed front calipers. Confirm the exact year, trim, suspension package and installed brakes.

Original brake requirements: FC applications require the four-piston caliper with 36.12 mm pistons and approximately 10.9-inch diameter x 22 mm ventilated iron rotors. This is the factory five-lug/performance, firm-ride or automatic-adjusting suspension brake package as applicable. FD applications require original four-piston front calipers and 294 x 22 mm ventilated iron rotors.

Hardware and limits: Preserve the correct inner/outer pads, retaining pins, springs and guard plates. Excludes the factory 14-inch-wheel/single-piston front brakes, later/import 314 mm upgrades and unverified conversions. Current wheel diameter or trim name alone does not establish brake fitment. Unconfirmed year/trim entries require exact-part confirmation from Hawk.

GTU fitment check: Existing GTU application retained pending exact installed-brake verification. HB155 .580 requires matching four-piston fixed front calipers, backing plates, retaining pins and springs, and compatible iron rotors. The GTU trim label and rotor diameter alone do not establish this package. Does not fit single-piston front calipers. Manufacturer and year/package sources conflict; no specific conversion kit has been verified.
