Intercooled boost for Classic GM V8 trucks
The ProCharger 1GI202-SCI HO tuner kit is cataloged for 1999–2003 GM 1500 truck/SUV applications with 4.8L, 5.3L or 6.0L V8 engines. The base configuration pairs a self-contained P-1SC supercharger with a 2-core air-to-air intercooler and factory shared 6-rib belt drive.
Configuration choices
Select the head unit and gearset, intercooler, and supercharger finish above. The 3-core upgrade adds $435 and uses 3-inch tubing. Bracket finish is separate. Higher-capacity heads require a build-appropriate boost level, fuel system and calibration.
Tuner-kit contents and installation
ProFlow bypass valve and application tubing are provided. Fuel components, handheld programmer and tuning are not included. Supply the exact year, model, engine, throttle arrangement, drivetrain, hydroboost configuration, balancer and modifications for application review. ProCharger's detailed application guide identifies 1GI202-SCI as the cable-throttle family. Confirm cable-operated throttle control; the overlapping 2003 catalog ranges require confirmation of the correct kit, and model year alone is insufficient.
This listing does not cover six-cylinder, diesel, older 5.7L Vortec or newer-body applications. Confirm engine-specific fitment before ordering.
