SMG 2016–2019 Cadillac ATS-V Auxiliary Fuel System
SMG 2016–2019 Cadillac ATS-V Auxiliary Fuel System
The factory low-side fuel system becomes a restriction quickly as an ATS-V moves beyond stock power. SMG’s ATS-V auxiliary fuel system adds the fuel volume needed for higher-output gasoline and ethanol combinations while retaining a simple, serviceable pressure-triggered control strategy.
This ATS-V package uses the same proven SMG auxiliary-fuel architecture developed for the Alpha-platform Camaro and CTS-V, with ATS-V-specific hose lengths for a clean installation.
Key Benefits
- Application-specific hose lengths for the 2016–2019 ATS-V
- Serviceable Hobbs-switch activation
- No sealed proprietary controller required
- Genuine Walbro in-line fuel pump
- Standard Output and High Output pump choices
- Gasoline and ethanol-compatible construction
- Double-braided, PTFE-based fuel hose assemblies
- Anodized aluminum fittings and weather-resistant electrical connections
- Assembled and tested by SMG before shipment
Selecting Trigger Pressure and Pump Output
Choose a 2 psi, 4 psi or 7 psi pressure switch. The 4 psi option is the most common starting point, but the proper trigger point depends on the tune, fuel, boost curve, power level and complete fuel-system configuration. Confirm the selection with the vehicle’s tuner before ordering.
Choose Standard Output for established street and moderate-power combinations, or High Output when the build requires additional low-side fuel capacity. Pump selection must be matched to the entire combination by the tuner or engine builder.
Installation Requirements
- Fits 2016–2019 Cadillac ATS-V
- Professional fuel-system and electrical installation is strongly recommended
- Factory fuel-tank drilling and tapping are required
- Requires a 3/8-inch NPT tap and 37/64-inch drill bit, not included
- ECU calibration is required after installation
Tuning Requirement
A professional tune is required. The auxiliary pump substantially changes available fuel volume. The factory control strategy must be recalibrated for the chosen pump, activation point, fuel and power level. SMG does not provide vehicle-specific tuning instructions.
Build Time
SMG auxiliary fuel systems are assembled to order. Allow approximately 3–5 business days before shipment, subject to production queue and component availability.
Warranty and Installation Support
The SMG lifetime warranty applies to systems installed by a verifiable commercial installer. DIY installation is permitted, but installation support and coverage for damage caused by wiring, plumbing, contamination, misuse or improper installation are not included. Every system is assembled and tested before leaving SMG.
This is a high-performance aftermarket fuel system. Installation modifies the vehicle’s fuel and electrical systems. The installer and vehicle owner are responsible for safe installation, calibration and compliance with applicable laws.
