A complete, coordinated return-style fuel-system package for serious 2014–2019 C7 Corvette builds.

This package combines the vehicle-specific Snow billet multi-pump fuel hat with the pumps, regulator, feed and return plumbing, filtration, fittings, power distribution and the selected pump-trigger solution needed to build the system. Each major component is selected to work as part of the same fuel-delivery strategy, eliminating the guesswork of assembling unrelated parts one at a time.

Fits: 2014–2019 Chevrolet Corvette (C7), including Stingray, Grand Sport, Z06 and ZR1 models. Confirm the vehicle and fuel-system plan before ordering.

Critical Max Flow note: all three pumps in the Max Flow configuration must operate together. This version is not suitable for staged-pump operation. Operating fewer than all three pumps can allow backfeeding through an unpowered pump and cause fuel-pressure problems.

Complete feed and return plumbing

A premium black-braided PTFE feed-and-return plumbing package is included as standard. PTFE provides broad fuel compatibility, reduced fuel-vapor permeation and strong long-term service with gasoline and ethanol-rich fuels such as E85. It is less likely to allow fuel odor through the hose and avoids making the customer choose between an economy hose and the material we would recommend for this level of fuel system.

PTFE hose is firmer than conventional rubber-lined performance hose and requires careful measuring, cutting and hose-end assembly. That tradeoff is appropriate for a professionally installed, high-output return-style system.

The plumbing package includes two 20-foot spools—one 8AN feed and one 8AN return—for up to 40 feet of total PTFE hose, plus a matched assortment of reusable hose ends and the fittings required to connect both lines at the fuel-hat side. This line size is standardized across every pump configuration because it provides the required capacity without the added bulk, bend-radius and hose-end installation challenges of oversized plumbing.

Engine-side and fuel-rail connections are not included. Fuel-rail style, regulator location, high-side system configuration and engine-bay routing differ too much between builds to supply one honest universal connection package. The installer must select the correct rail, regulator, high-side and engine-side adapters for the individual vehicle.

Included fuel-pressure regulator

The package includes Snow’s high-flow billet EFI bypass regulator. It is adjustable from 35–100 psi and uses two 8AN ORB inlet/outlet ports, an 8AN ORB return port, a 1:1 vacuum/boost-reference connection and a dedicated gauge port. Its black-anodized billet construction and fuel-compatible internal materials make it suitable for gasoline and ethanol-based fuels.

Included pump activation

The Snow relay module provides three individually fused 30-amp pump circuits, and Hobbs-triggered configurations include the SMG hardware needed to complete the selected pump strategy. The Hobbs switch only commands the relay trigger circuit; pump current does not pass through the pressure switch.

2-Pump Street: the primary pump is commanded by the installer-selected ignition or factory pump-enable source. One SMG Hobbs switch activates the second pump as boost reaches the selected pressure.

3-Pump Street and 3-Pump Race: the primary pump is commanded by the installer-selected ignition or factory pump-enable source. One SMG Hobbs switch commands both secondary relay trigger inputs so pumps two and three activate together at one pressure. This avoids two pressure settings, reduces wiring complexity and prevents an unnecessary intermediate operating mode.

3-Pump Max Flow: no Hobbs switch is used. The package instead includes the trigger jumper and wiring needed for all three relay circuits to receive the same pump command and operate together.

Installer-supplied trigger option: staged pump configurations may be ordered without SMG trigger hardware when the installer will provide the complete control strategy. The installer remains responsible for correctly commanding every required Snow relay input. This option does not change a staged pump configuration into the Max Flow configuration.

Choose the staged-pump activation method

  • 2 PSI — early activation: generally best for positive-displacement superchargers that develop boost quickly.
  • 4 PSI — recommended default: a strong starting point for most street turbo and centrifugal-supercharger combinations.
  • 7 PSI — later activation: suited to higher-boost combinations where the secondary pumps are not needed as early.
  • 10 PSI — high-boost activation: intended for combinations whose normal operating boost comfortably exceeds 10 PSI.
  • No trigger hardware — installer/ECU controlled: for customers supplying their own ECU output, boost controller, PDM or other pump-staging strategy. No Hobbs switch, MP280 pigtail, boost-reference hardware or SMG trigger-wire package is supplied with this selection.

Hobbs-triggered staged packages include the selected fixed-pressure, normally open SMG Hobbs switch; sealed MP280 connector/pigtail; boost-reference hose, tee and 1/8-27 NPT connection hardware; a small spool of automotive trigger wire; terminals, heat-shrink and protective loom; and the trigger distribution hardware required by the selected two- or three-pump configuration. The activation pressure must be confirmed with the vehicle’s tuner and verified during installation.

Installer-finished system

This is not a plug-and-play installation kit. It is a coordinated set of the major components required to fabricate a custom return-style system. Hose is supplied for final measuring, cutting, routing and assembly in the individual vehicle. The installer determines safe routing, mounting, heat protection and clearance from exhaust and moving components.

The electrical system also requires final installation and configuration. Wire lengths, terminals, grounds, fusing, relay mounting and the pump-trigger strategy must be completed for the specific vehicle. On staged configurations, the boost reference, activation pressure and trigger logic must be installed and verified. SMG may contact the customer after purchase to confirm fuel type, power goal and trigger strategy.

Important requirements

  • Return-style installation only; do not operate as a returnless system.
  • Fuel-level sending unit is not included.
  • Compatible with gasoline, ethanol and gasoline/ethanol blends; supplied pumps are not compatible with methanol.
  • Fuel rails and injectors are not included.
  • Additional application-specific brackets, heat protection, wiring and engine-side adapters may be required.
  • Professional installation by a qualified performance shop is strongly recommended.
  • Calibration and fuel-pressure verification under load are required before full-power operation.
