SMG Gen V BARO/IAT Breakout Harness - Plug‑and‑Play Precision for Boosted Gen V Engines
SMG Gen V BARO/IAT Breakout Harness – Plug‑and‑Play Precision for Boosted Gen V Engines
When you add boost or switch to speed‑density tuning on a Gen V LT engine, the ECU must receive accurate barometric and intake‑air temperature signals. Our SMG breakout harnesses let you relocate these sensors—barometric only or both barometric and IAT—without cutting or splicing the factory harness.
Why our harnesses stand out:
- Clean, durable construction: We use a professional‑grade braided loom over high‑temperature automotive wire to protect the harness and give it an OEM‑style appearance—no hand‑wrapped tape to unravel.
- Consistent, machine‑crimped terminals: Every terminal is machine‑crimped for secure, repeatable connections and reliable signal integrity.
- Optimised lengths: The main harness leg is just 6 inches, preventing excess slack and keeping your engine bay tidy. A generous baro/MAP/IAT lead lets you mount the sensor wherever you need it—no additional extension required.
- True plug‑and‑play: Simply unplug your factory IAT/MAP connector, insert our breakout harness, and plug in the sensors. No special tools or wiring skills needed.
Ordering options:
- Breakout type: Use the drop‑down menu to choose between a baro‑only harness or a baro + IAT harness, depending on your setup.
- Sensors: Select a harness on its own (so you can supply your own sensors) or bundle it with a genuine GM one‑bar or three‑bar and or IAT sensor using the sensor options in the drop‑down.
Applications: Designed for Gen V GM engines such as LT1, LT4 and LT2 in Corvette, Camaro and truck platforms. These harnesses are essential for supercharged, turbocharged or speed‑density tuned setups where accurate barometric and IAT references are critical.
Quality you can trust: Each harness is assembled in‑house at SMG Speed Shop, used on our own builds, and backed by a lifetime warranty against defects.
Processing & Shipping Overview
Processing occurs before shipping.
Most in-stock items typically process within 2–3 business days before shipment or pickup. Expedited shipping options affect transit time after an order ships and do not speed up processing.
Made-to-order, special-order, vendor drop-ship, and freight items require additional processing time before shipping. Any extended lead times will be noted on the product page when applicable.
For the most up-to-date order status or lead time questions, please contact sales@smgspeed.com or use live chat during business hours.
