Transmission note: Automatic cars may require a matched converter depending on cam selection. Manual cars require consideration of clutch condition and low-speed drivability.
Timing configuration: Verify the selected camshaft bolt pattern and install the matching upper timing gear and cam bolts.
Pushrod and clearance note: Final pushrod length and piston-to-valve clearance must be measured during assembly.
Tuning required: Professional custom calibration is mandatory. No tune, tuning device, credits or remote tuning support is included.
Fitment: 1998-2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28/SS and Pontiac Firebird Formula/Trans Am with the factory 5.7L LS1. Not for LT1-powered 1993-1997 cars or V6 applications.
Local installation: North Texas High Performance can provide separately quoted installation, converter recommendations and tuning for local customers.
Processing & Shipping Overview
Processing occurs before shipping.
Most in-stock items typically process within 2–3 business days before shipment or pickup. Expedited shipping options affect transit time after an order ships and do not speed up processing.
Made-to-order, special-order, vendor drop-ship, and freight items require additional processing time before shipping. Any extended lead times will be noted on the product page when applicable.
For the most up-to-date order status or lead time questions, please contact sales@smgspeed.com or use live chat during business hours.
