TSP 2014-2020 GM Truck/SUV L83 5.3L Camshaft Package

A vehicle- and engine-specific Texas Speed camshaft package for GM trucks and SUVs equipped with the Gen 5 L83 5.3L. This package combines the selected L83 camshaft with the matched .660-inch dual valve spring kit, chromoly pushrods and the correct timing hardware.

Choose Your Camshaft

• Stage 1 V2: Factory-converter-friendly street profile with a mild lope and strong drivability.
• Stage 2 V2: Stronger midrange and upper-rpm performance with a more noticeable idle. A 2600-2800 rpm converter is recommended.
• Stage 3 V2: Aggressive naturally aspirated profile. A 2800-3000+ rpm converter is recommended.
• Turbo V2: Designed for turbocharged L83 combinations.
• Supercharger V2: Designed for positive-displacement or centrifugal-supercharger combinations.
• B.F.D. Chop Monster: Maximum idle character for properly supported naturally aspirated combinations.
• F-117 Stealth: Performance-oriented profile for customers prioritizing power with a more restrained idle character.

Choose Your Timing Configuration

• VVT Cam Kit: Retains the factory-style phaser architecture and includes the required TSP phaser limiter and installation tool.
• 3-Bolt Non-VVT Kit: Uses a fixed 3-bolt camshaft. The compatible TSP Gen 5 LT VVT Delete Timing Cover Kit is required and sold separately. Select the wet-sump version for these applications.

• TSP/PRC .660-inch dual valve spring kit with PAC springs and titanium retainers
• Set of 16 7.850-inch hardened chromoly pushrods
• Required timing hardware for the selected configuration

DOD/AFM delete required: All L83 performance camshafts require removal of the factory AFM lifters. Add the compatible TSP Gen 5 LT DOD/AFM Delete Kit to complete the conversion.

Fuel-system note: These camshafts use an increased high-pressure fuel-pump lobe. Follow the camshaft-specific lash-cap instructions and verify fuel-pump compatibility.

Tuning required: Professional calibration is mandatory after installation. No tune, tuning device, credits, controller unlock or remote tuning support is included.

Fitment: 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 with the L83 5.3L, plus applicable 2015-2020 Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban and GMC Yukon/Yukon XL models with the L83. Verify the engine RPO before ordering. Not for L84, L82, L86 or L87 applications.
