TSP GM Cathedral-Port Beehive Spring Camshaft Package

A Texas Speed beehive-spring camshaft package for cathedral-port GM LS engines in performance cars, trucks and SUVs. This package provides a lighter-duty spring alternative to the dual-spring package while keeping the camshaft, springs and pushrods matched as a single combination.

Choose Your Camshaft

• Stage 2 5.3 Truck: Mild-to-moderate truck profile with strong usable torque and a noticeable idle.
• Stage 3 5.3 Truck: Stronger midrange and upper-rpm performance with a choppier idle.
• Stage 4 5.3 Truck: Aggressive truck profile requiring appropriate converter and supporting modifications.
• 224R: Proven street performance profile for naturally aspirated cathedral-port combinations.
• 228R: More aggressive street and strip profile with stronger upper-rpm performance.
• Torquer V2: Broad-torque profile for larger-displacement cathedral-port combinations.

• PAC-1219 single beehive valve springs, set of 16
• Texas Speed hardened 3/8-inch chromoly pushrods

DOD/AFM note: Factory-DOD Gen IV 5.3L engines require the TSP Gen IV 5.3L Complete DOD/AFM Delete Kit. Gen III engines and non-DOD Gen IV combinations do not require that conversion.

VVT note: VVT-equipped applications require the TSP Gen 4 LS VVT Delete Kit when using a fixed-timing three-bolt camshaft.

Installation note: Verify cylinder-head port style, camshaft spring requirements, installed height, piston-to-valve clearance, pushrod length and timing-set compatibility before installation.

Tuning required: Professional calibration is mandatory after installation. No tune, tuning device, credits or remote tuning support is included.

Fitment: Cathedral-port LS1, LS2, LS6 and compatible 4.8L, 5.3L or 6.0L GM LS engines. Not intended for rectangular-port or Gen 5 LT cylinder heads.
