VFN fiberglass body panels are hand-built and require professional preparation and installation. Test fit the hood before sanding, drilling, painting, or final installation. Minor trimming, blocking, filling, surface preparation, and adjustment may be required. Pin-on hoods require appropriate fasteners and professional installation. Final fitment and mounting are the installer’s responsibility.
Freight Collect Shipping
This hood ships freight collect. Freight is not free. SMG Speed Shop collects $0 for freight at checkout because the shipping charge is paid separately to the freight carrier. The carrier will contact the customer to arrange payment and delivery or terminal pickup.
- Budget up to approximately $590 for residential delivery on higher-cost lanes. Final freight depends on destination, crate dimensions, and carrier accessorial fees.
- Pickup at the assigned local ABF Freight terminal may cost less when the customer has a suitable vehicle and can safely collect the hood.
- An adult must be present for residential delivery.
- The carrier will not release or deliver the shipment until payment arrangements are complete.
- Residential, liftgate, limited-access, redelivery, and storage charges are the customer’s responsibility when applicable.
- Inspect the crate and hood before signing. Note visible damage on the delivery receipt and follow the carrier’s freight-claim process.
