This VFN hood is made to order and is not a stocked, ready-to-ship item. Typical production is approximately 4 to 8 weeks before carrier pickup. Production schedules are estimates, not guaranteed ship dates, and may vary with manufacturer workload, selected options, and custom work.

• Race-body installation: confirm retention hardware, mounting, windshield-area clearance, and trimming requirements before ordering.

Professional Fit and Finish Required

VFN fiberglass body panels are hand-built and require professional preparation and installation. Test fit the hood before sanding, drilling, painting, or final installation. Minor trimming, blocking, filling, surface preparation, and adjustment may be required. Bolt-on versions are designed around factory-style hinge and latch locations, but final fitment and adjustment are the installer’s responsibility. Confirm engine and induction clearance before ordering.

Freight Collect Shipping

This hood ships freight collect. Freight is not free. SMG Speed Shop collects $0 for freight at checkout because the shipping charge is paid separately to the freight carrier. The carrier will contact the customer to arrange payment and delivery or terminal pickup.

• Budget up to approximately $590 for residential delivery on higher-cost lanes. Final freight depends on destination, crate dimensions, and carrier accessorial fees.
• Pickup at the assigned local ABF Freight terminal may cost less when the customer has a suitable vehicle and can safely collect the hood.
• An adult must be present for residential delivery.
• The carrier will not release or deliver the shipment until payment arrangements are complete.
• Residential, liftgate, limited-access, redelivery, and storage charges are the customer’s responsibility when applicable.
• Inspect the crate and hood before signing. Note visible damage on the delivery receipt and follow the carrier’s freight-claim process.

Confirm the hood style, mounting method, vehicle fitment, engine clearance, and delivery method before purchase. This is a special-order item. Made-to-order and customized parts are generally not cancelable or returnable after production begins.
