Kong LT4 CNC Supercharger Porting Service

Maximize airflow from your customer-supplied factory LT4 supercharger and snout with Kong Performance’s proven CNC porting service. Kong’s current port geometry is developed, simulated, tested, and machined in-house on 5-axis CNC equipment for repeatable results across C7 Corvette Z06, Gen 6 Camaro ZL1, Cadillac CTS-V3, and other LT4-powered combinations.

Kong reports typical gains of approximately 40–80 rear-wheel horsepower from the base porting service on properly supported combinations. The optional Stage X machining package can provide additional airflow potential for more aggressive builds. Actual power depends on pulley ratio, throttle body, intake, exhaust, fuel system, calibration, engine combination, and operating conditions; gains are not guaranteed.

What is included

• Inspection of the submitted components for suitability before machining
• Typical Kong processing time of approximately 3–5 business days after receipt

Optional Stage X upgrade

Stage X adds supplemental CNC machining developed through airflow simulation, dyno testing, and track validation. Kong positions the upgrade for high-output factory 1.7L LT4 combinations with the fuel system, airflow, engine, and calibration to support the added capacity. Stage X is sold separately and must accompany an eligible base porting service.

Customer preparation and shipping

• Remove sensors, loose fittings, and gaskets unless SMG provides different instructions.
• Clean residual fluids and protect every opening from debris.
• Pack the unit securely on all sides using dense material; do not use loose packing peanuts.
• Use a trackable carrier and do not ship until SMG provides the current service authorization and routing instructions.

Transit time is separate from the advertised processing estimate. Cleaning, repairs, damaged parts, bearing work, or additional disassembly may add cost and time. Contact SMG for help choosing pulleys, hubs, throttle bodies, fueling, cooling, and calibration support for a complete LT4 package.

Return shipping

The customer is responsible for shipping the prepared supercharger to Kong Performance. Checkout collects UPS Ground return shipping from Kong’s Pennsylvania facility to the customer using the packed blower weight and the saved foam-lined LT4 shipping container. SMG supplies the return label after service is complete.
