Kong Performance CNC Porting Service for Magnuson LT4 TVS2650
Kong CNC Porting for the Magnuson LT4 TVS2650
Unlock the airflow potential of your customer-supplied Magnuson LT4 TVS2650 supercharger with Kong Performance’s precision CNC porting service. Kong develops, tests, and machines its port designs in-house using advanced airflow modeling and 5-axis CNC equipment, producing a consistent finish that cannot be duplicated by a basic hand cleanup.
This service is intended for performance LT4 combinations that already have—or are being built with—the supporting airflow, fuel-system, calibration, and drivetrain upgrades needed to benefit from a ported TVS2650. Kong reports gains exceeding 80 rear-wheel horsepower in properly supported back-to-back combinations. Actual results depend on pulley ratio, throttle body, intake, exhaust, fuel system, engine combination, calibration, operating conditions, and the vehicle’s starting configuration; horsepower gains are not guaranteed.

Before shipping your supercharger
- Remove all sensors, loose fittings, and gaskets unless SMG provides different instructions for your order.
- Drain or clean any residual fluids and protect every opening from contamination.
- Wrap and support the supercharger on every side with dense packing material.
- Do not use loose packing peanuts.
- Use a sturdy container suitable for the weight of a complete supercharger. A compatible molded shipping container may be purchased separately.
How the SMG service process works
- Place the porting-service order through SMG Speed.
- SMG will provide the service authorization and current shipping instructions.
- Ship the prepared supercharger using a trackable UPS, FedEx, or DHL service.
- Kong completes the CNC work and returns the finished unit through the arranged service order.
Important: Do not ship the supercharger until you receive the order-specific instructions from SMG. Transit time is separate from Kong’s estimated shop turnaround. Additional cleaning, disassembly, damaged hardware, repairs, or rebuild work may require added time and cost.
Recommended supporting components
Depending on the combination, consider the appropriate GripTec pulley, pulley hub, throttle body, intake, belt-drive components, fuel-system upgrades, cooling upgrades, and professional calibration. Contact SMG if you need help selecting a pulley ratio or building a complete Magnuson LT4 TVS2650 package.
Recommended service add-on
Add the Kong Full Snout Rebuild if you want the eligible snout bearings inspected and serviced while the Magnuson TVS2650 is already at Kong.
Return shipping
The customer is responsible for shipping the prepared supercharger to Kong Performance. Checkout collects UPS Ground return shipping from Kong’s Pennsylvania facility to the customer using the packed blower weight and the saved foam-lined LT4 shipping container. SMG supplies the return label after service is complete.
Processing & Shipping Overview
Processing occurs before shipping.
Most in-stock items typically process within 2–3 business days before shipment or pickup. Expedited shipping options affect transit time after an order ships and do not speed up processing.
Made-to-order, special-order, vendor drop-ship, and freight items require additional processing time before shipping. Any extended lead times will be noted on the product page when applicable.
For the most up-to-date order status or lead time questions, please contact sales@smgspeed.com or use live chat during business hours.
