2026 F-150 ProCharger Kits Are Shipping: ProCharger Says Up to 80% More Power, With Pro Power Onboard Intact

The most interesting part of ProCharger’s newest 2026 Ford F-150 release is not simply that the 5.0-liter Coyote can be supercharged. That formula has been proven in the aftermarket for years. The bigger news is how complete the current 2024–2026 lineup has become: multiple complete systems, higher-output stages, tuner kits, and dedicated versions for trucks equipped with Ford’s Pro Power Onboard dual-alternator setup.

SEMA News recently highlighted ProCharger’s model-year 2026 expansion, which includes the F-150 along with new systems for several other Ford and GM applications. ProCharger says its 2026 F-150 systems are now shipping, and the company advertises gains ranging from roughly 65–70% for its Stage 1 configuration to 75–80% or more for Stage 2, depending on the system and combination. Those are manufacturer-advertised figures, not an SMG or NTHP dyno guarantee, and actual results will vary with fuel, calibration, weather, drivetrain losses, tire setup and the individual truck.

What is new for the 2026 F-150?

For owners of a 2026 5.0L F-150, the important change is straightforward: there is now a current-model-year centrifugal-supercharger path with choices based on how complete or custom you want the build to be. ProCharger’s current catalog covers Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 complete systems, plus tuner-kit versions for builders who intend to handle calibration and supporting fuel hardware separately.

SMG currently lists the 2024–2026 F-150 5.0L ProCharger Stage 1 System, the Stage 2 System and the Stage 3 System. That gives a truck owner a much cleaner starting point than trying to assemble a blower, bracketry, intercooler, piping, fuel support and calibration strategy one unrelated part at a time.

Stage 1, Stage 2 or Stage 3: what actually changes?

ProCharger’s Stage 1 package uses its P-1X centrifugal head unit, an air-to-air intercooler and the factory-style shared six-rib accessory drive. ProCharger advertises roughly a 65–70% horsepower increase at about 10 psi for the Stage 1 system. The complete-system approach also includes ProCharger-specific calibration and the fuel-system changes the manufacturer has designed around the package.

Stage 2 raises the performance target. ProCharger advertises roughly 75–80% or greater horsepower gains and approximately 12 psi, again with the exact result depending on the truck and operating conditions. The SMG Stage 2 listing is the logical step for a customer whose goal is beyond the milder Stage 1 package but who still wants an engineered complete system rather than a fully custom parts combination.

Stage 3 changes another important part of the system: the belt drive. The Stage 3 F-150 system moves to a dedicated eight-rib drive, which is a meaningful distinction as blower speed, load and future power goals increase. Bigger is not automatically better for every truck. The correct stage should be chosen around the actual horsepower target, fuel, intended use and how much future headroom the owner wants.

Pro Power Onboard compatibility is the sleeper headline

The most useful engineering update may be the one that has nothing to do with a dyno number. Ford’s Pro Power Onboard-equipped F-150s use a factory dual-alternator arrangement, and that packaging creates a problem for conventional front-drive supercharger bracketry.

Rather than asking owners to give up the factory feature, ProCharger developed dedicated 2024–2026 F-150 versions for Pro Power Onboard trucks. The company says it reworked the primary bracket to clear the second alternator and redesigned the intake tubing to route around factory panels while remaining in a cool-air area. Most importantly, ProCharger says the truck retains full factory Pro Power Onboard functionality.

SMG lists the dedicated Stage 1 Pro Power Onboard system and Stage 2 Pro Power Onboard system. If your truck has the factory dual-alternator option, that distinction matters. Ordering the correct kit is not just a matter of choosing a boost level; the front accessory configuration has to match the truck.

Complete system or tuner kit?

This is one of the most important choices to make before ordering. ProCharger says its tuner kits use the same core supercharger hardware as the complete systems but omit the supplied tuning and fuel components. That makes a tuner kit useful for a more customized build where the owner or calibration shop already has a specific fuel system, calibration strategy, camshaft, headers or other engine changes planned.

For that route, SMG lists the Stage 2 Tuner Kit, the Stage 3 Tuner Kit, and a dedicated Stage 2 Pro Power Onboard Tuner Kit.

A tuner kit is not simply a cheaper complete kit. It is the more appropriate choice when the build is intentionally custom and the shop has a plan for fuel delivery, calibration, boost target and supporting hardware. If the truck is otherwise close to stock and the goal is a defined bolt-on combination, a complete system can eliminate a lot of unnecessary guesswork.

The real build is bigger than the blower

PRI’s recent coverage of engine mapping and power adders reinforces a point that matters on any modern boosted vehicle: the power adder is only one part of the combination. Modern ECU control ties together fuel injection, ignition, variable valve timing, boost behavior and torque management. That is why a truck that “has the right blower” can still be a poor combination if fuel quality, calibration, intake-air temperature or drivetrain strategy are wrong.

On a boosted F-150, the planning list should include fuel octane and consistency, injector and pump capacity where applicable, spark-plug and ignition strategy, intercooler efficiency, belt drive, transmission behavior, tire capacity and data logging. None of those parts is as exciting to photograph as a supercharger, but they are what separate a balanced package from a truck that only looks complete with the hood open.

More horsepower does not change Ford’s tow rating

Performance-truck marketing often talks about towing, passing power and stronger acceleration, and there is no question that added engine output can change how quickly a loaded truck accelerates. But adding a supercharger does not increase Ford’s certified GVWR, GAWR, GCWR, payload, hitch, tire, brake or tow ratings.

Those ratings are based on the complete vehicle, not just available engine power. More horsepower may make a truck feel less strained in some driving situations, but it is not permission to exceed any factory weight, axle, tire or towing limit. For a truck that actually works for a living, that distinction matters as much as the dyno chart.

Choosing the right 2026 F-150 ProCharger setup

Start with the truck, not the catalog. Confirm whether it has Pro Power Onboard, define the actual horsepower goal, decide whether the engine and exhaust will remain near stock, and determine whether you want a complete calibration/fuel package or a custom tuner-kit route. From there, the Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3 and Pro Power-specific choices make much more sense.
